How far in advance do I need to book my wedding flowers?

-It's best to start planning your wedding flowers approximately 4-6 months before your wedding date.

How do I start planning for my wedding flowers?

-The best place to start is by filling out our Wedding Flower Questionnaire and compiling photos of bouquets that you like on a Pinterest board or through online searches. After filling out the questionniare, you can send it to Jordan, our Event Coordinator, and she will prepare a proposal for you.

Is a consultation required?

-A consultation is a good way to review the proposal together and answer any questions you may have. It is highly recommended.

How do I book a consultation or contact you for my wedding?

-Contact our Event Coordinator, Jordan, by email or phone call and she will get you started on the planning process. Her email is jordan@lafayetteflorist.com or you can call her direct office number at (970) 985-4109.

-Our address is 3335 Arapahoe Rd. #30 Erie, CO 80516

What should I bring to the consultation?

-Bring your proposal, wedding flower questionnaire, any inspiration photos, and a notepad to your wedding flower consultation.

How can I secure my wedding date?

- We require a $200 non-refundable "Save the Date" retainer to secure your wedding date. This payment goes toward the balance of your flowers.

What is your pricing?

-We price based on the items you need. Pricing depends on your flexibility on flower varieties and the size of bouquets and arrangements.

Do you have a minimum?

 -We do not have a minimum price for wedding and event flowers. 

Do you offer wedding packages?

-We do offer wedding packages. You can build your own wedding flower package on our "Wedding Packages" page. 

What if I do not know exactly what type of flowers I want for my wedding?

- Jordan is happy to recommend flowers based on your style and color scheme. Just let her know you're not sure what kind of flowers you want and she is happy to make suggestions that are seasonal and work well in your budget.

What if I know exactly what type of flowers I want for my wedding?

-Please specify the flowers that you would like included in your wedding on the Wedding Flower Questionnaire form. We will do our best to procure the specific flowers you request based on season, flower availability, and budget.

What happens after I get my quote?

-Jordan will send a Wedding Flower Consultation calendar to schedule a consultation along with your proposal. Jordan does Zoom and phone consultations. 

What are your delivery, set up and take down fees?

-Delivery fees depend on the distance of your venue from our shop. Set-up fees are calculated based on how many people are required for the set-up and how long the set-up will take. We do not offer strike service (returning to the venue after the event to take down). 

What towns do you deliver weddings to?

-We deliver a maximum of 45 minutes from our shop. We deliver weddings to Lafayette, Louisville, Boulder, Broomfield, Erie, Longmont, Frederick, and Denver. Please contact Jordan to find out if your venue is in our delivery area. 

What if the flowers I want are not in season?

-If your favorite blooms are not in season, Jordan will suggest flower substitutions that have the same look and feel. 

Are there any flowers that you do not recommend for a wedding?

-Some wildflower type flowers do not hold up well as a cut flower such as Columbines.

-There are also flower varieties that are expensive and very hard to procure such as Lily of the Valley.

-We don't recommend flowers that do not hold up well in heat during the summer months such as Anemones.

-It is always better to choose seasonal blooms for your wedding flowers.

Can I see samples of my wedding flowers?

-If you would like to see individual blooms that will be included in your wedding flowers, we carry some varieties in our shop on an everyday basis and are happy to show you what they look like. Some specialty varieties would have to be special ordered and would require purchasing that particular bunch of flowers. We are happy to make a bouquet sample at an additional cost. There will be flower suggestions pictured on your wedding flower proposal.


Do you have a wedding flower gallery I can see?

Our Wedding Gallery on our website has great photos of wedding flowers that we have designed. If there is something you would like examples of that are not pictured on our website, contact Jordan and she is happy to help find example photos for you. 


Who do I need to provide flowers for at my wedding?

The Wedding Flower Questionnaire will have a list of suggested people to include flowers for. These are just optional and who you choose to provide flowers for is a personal decision.

Do you provide other services, like pew bows, rentals, runners, and favors?

We only provide floral decorations and bows. We do not have rental options or other non-floral decorations.

What is your deposit policy and how do I pay my deposit?

- We require a $200 non-refundable "Save the Date" retainer to secure your wedding date. This payment goes toward the balance of your flowers. You can pay this retainer by placing your payment over the phone. Please call Jordan at (970) 985-4109 to place your retainer. 

What venues do you work with?

We have vendor partnerships with Lionsgate Event Center and The Simon. There are many other venues in our delivery area that we frequently work with.

Do you provide flowers for other events besides weddings?

We service weddings, Corporate Events, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Celebration of Life,  and any other party you would like to spruce up with flowers! Flowers are one of the best ways to make your event extra special. Contact Jordan for a quote for your special event.
